It was just yesterday, when I realized my standard internet parental filter wasn’t doing the trick. After family dinner was over, I was helping one of my nephews do some research for a school paper. Needless to say, I immediately closed that page. But the incident really got me thinking… a convencional pornography blocker that will merely limit access to dirty websites just won’t do the trick, in this day and age.
Pornography runs rampant on the Internet, and oftentimes we don’t even realize the extent of the corruption. That’s because our own moral filters are already in place, as to safeguard us from being exposed to perverse content. But children don’t have such filters, and that’s just why it’s vital getting internet filtering software that is 100% effective.
After that incident last night, I decided I’d spend the morning today researching on the best internet filtering software available on the market.

I am looking for filtering software to block pornography sites only. I do not want one that will block just about anything (I hate those). Is there such a thing?

Net Nanny is probably the best one out there. However, it is not free.
